Tinder - Plug-Ins |
|
There are 75
plug-ins in Tinder for Avid|DS. |

T_BadTV
T_BadTV
simulates poor TV reception. A master control alters the overall signal
quality to produce ghosting, snow, edge distortions, colour loss, vertical
roll, misaligned guns, shash effects, power loss and other effects. |

T_Bandlimit
T_Bandlimit converts an image into Fourier space, removes or keeps
frequencies, then converts it back to give a very stylised image.
|

T_Bars
T_Bars
generates colour bars and ramps. |

T_Beam
T_Beam
draws a spotlight in 3D space. The position of the light source can be
animated and the beam can be rotated in all directions. The beam can
either be composited with the source image or used to generate a new
image. |

T_Blob
T_Blob
renders smoothly shaded blobs that gloop together when they get close to
one another. |

T_Blur
T_Blur is
a time constant sub-pixel gaussian blur. It is very fast at large and
small blurs and being sub-pixel can be smoothly animated over time. It can
operate on the whole image, individual colour components or the luminance.
It can also be used to sharpen the image. |

T_BlurChannels
This
plug-in blurs the individual colour channels of an image by different
amounts. It uses a fast sub-pixel gaussian blur. BlurChannels can be used
to soften the red channel of a digitally created image and blend the
result back into the original. This is useful for simulating certain
filmstocks that have layered red, green and blue emulsions where the
focussing of the image captured on film is subtly different for each layer
(or channel). |

T_BlurMasked
T_BlurMasked takes an image and a matte and blurs the image based on
values in the matte. In some circumstances it can be used to simulate
depth of field. |

T_BumpShade
T_BumpShade gives images the appearance of depth by falsely extruding from
the luminance or matte. Lighting is provided to accentuate the relief and
parameters to soften the effect are supplied. Can be a useful tool for
giving cartoons a shaded look. |

T_Caustic
T_Caustic simulates the patterns created when light rays
are reflected or refracted by a curved surface. Caustics can often be seen
at the bottom of a swimming pool in bright sunlight. It is often used with
logical operators to produce an organic breakup of mattes. |

T_Chromatic
T_Chromatic blurs and separates the colour components of an image to
simulate the colour fringing seen when light is refracted through poor
quality lenses. |

T_CircularBlur
T_CircularBlur smears an image around a point giving the appearance of
motion blur on a rotating object. It's fast and includes filtering options
and controls for the hold out at the centre. |

T_Clouds
T_Clouds
generates fluffy animating cloud shapes. It can also be used to generate
smoke. There are controls for turbulence, fluffiness, gain, density and
more. |

T_Condensation
T_Condensation renders thousands of water particles that clump together
into water droplets. The droplets are used to distort the source image
giving the appearance of water condensation on glass. There are lighting
controls and the effect auto-animates drips. |

T_Contour
T_Contour
draws closed lines along pixels with similar luminance. The result can be
blended back into the original image. |
|

T_Contrast
T_Contrast changes the contrast and brightness of an image. You can
individually adjust the contrast and brightness settings of all colour
components, or just the r,g or b channels, and you can also specify the
tonal ranges to limit the correction. |

T_Copyflicker
T_CopyFlicker analyses the luminance variations in a clip and applies them
to another clip. |

T_Crop
T_Crop
can be used to remove unwanted video junk at the edges of images. Pixels
at crop boundaries can be repeated, wrapped, reflected or a colour
inserted. |

T_Deband
T_Deband
intelligently smooths out the appearance of colour banding on 8 bit
images. |
|

T_Defield
T_Defield
generates a frame from a field. A number of sophisticated algorithms are
supplied to create the missing field. Slope adaptive interpolation gives a
greatly superior result on angled edges to standard line interpolation
methods. A motion mask has been developed to identify areas of the image
that are moving and interpolate only these. By preserving static parts of
the image less information is thrown away giving a higher quality result.
|

T_Deflicker
T_Deflicker removes global colour or luminance flicker
from a clip. The flicker may be as a result of lighting variations during
stop motion photography, or it could have been introduced in some transfer
process prior to its arrival on your system. |

T_Degrain
T_Degrain removes grain from film images and noise in
video images. The algorithm is based on a hybrid median filter that
analyses a neighbourhood of pixels and sets the centre pixel to the median
value of that region. This removes any pixels which show a sudden change
in intensity which is typical of noise. |

T_Diffuse
T_Diffuse
scatters pixels in an image. |

T_DirBlur
T_DirBlur
smears pixels in a particular direction. Tracking information can be used
to automatically set the amount and direction of blur to simulate motion
on fast moving objects. |

T_Distorto
T_Distorto deforms one clip using the luminance of
another. This is a gem of a plug-in that is extensively used in
post-production to fake and control the distortions seen in reflected
objects. |

give a double vision look. |

T_EdgeBlock
T_EdgeBlock posterises an image localised to detected edges within the
image. |

directional vectors that selectively blur the image either along or
perpendicular to the vectors. Interesting painterly effects can be
achieved. |

T_Grain
T_Grain
adds simulated grain to images. A luminance curve is provided to reduce
the amount of grain added in the shadows and highlights. See Furnace for
grain matching. |

T_HeatHaze
T_HeatHaze simulates the layered rippling distortion
that is characteristic of viewing images through hot air. |

T_Kaleid
T_Kaleid
produces a classic kaleidoscope prism effect on an image. This is achieved
by simulating the inter-reflections of a triangular prism over a picture.
|

T_Laser
T_Laser
generates animating laser bolts between two points. |

T_LensBlur

There are numerous parameters to control all aspects of the bolt from fork
depth to glow intensity. An optional matte can be used to restrict the
path of the plasma around objects. |

T_MatteTool
T_MatteTool provides a suite of tools to process mattes.
You can grow or erode matte edges with sub-pixel precision from a single
parameter, or extract outlines from mattes and soften just one side of it.
There are tools for cleaning up mattes from keyers and removing colour
spill before compositing. |

T_Median
T_Median
applies an NxN median filter to an image. Median filters do an excellent
job of removing single pixel noise or scratches from an image while only
causing a slight reduction in sharpness. |

T_MeltTime

real data so you get to see the constellations in their correct positions
and with their correct colour. A dozen presets display the constellations. |

T_Noise
T_Noise
adds single pixel variations to an image to simulate video noise.
|
|

T_OldFilm
T_OldFilm
converts contemporary video footage into images that look as though they
have been shot on film and left to degrade over time. Scratches, dust,
hair, stains, vignette, defocus, defielding, highlight diffusion, grain,
camera flicker and other effects are included. There are controls to
double up frames for that staccato old film look. Preset colour effects
like sepia, black and white, techicolour and forties take the hassle out
of setting up this effect. Brightness, contrast and saturation controls
for each individual colour channel for fine tuning. A burn through effect
allows the film to stick in the gate and burn under the light. Everything
you need really. |

T_Paint
T_Paint
processes an image into one that looks as though it had be painted with
acrylic paints. The brush width, softness, stroke lengths, smearing and
more can be animated and customised to give a huge variety of paint styles
