Known limitations of our plugins with Premiere Pro 1. 5. Please note that our plugins that deal with interlaced material (Twixtor and FieldsKit, in particular) need to be dealt with specially within Premiere Pro 1.5. With the release of Twixtor 4.5 and FieldsKit 1.5, there are no more limitations with working on interlaced material within Premiere Pro 1.5. Known limitations of our plugins with Premiere 6.0, 6.5 and Premiere Pro 1.0. Please note that our plugins that deal with interlaced material (Twixtor and FieldsKit, in particular) need to be dealt with specially within Premiere and Premiere Pro. Twixtor and FieldsKit can read and output interlaced material from within Premiere, but need to manage the interlacing themselves. Because of this, these plugins need to be applied to material from within progressive Premiere projects. So the workflow is this:
Known limitations of our plugins with FCP version 3.x. Please note that our plugins that take clips as input settings (Twixtor, FieldsKit, ReelSmart Motion Blur, SmoothKit, RE:Fill and Shade/Shape) work properly in all versions of FCP. However, in FCP 3.x, two After Effects plugins cannot be applied together. For example, it is often the case you want to apply FieldsKit to deinterlace, followed by ReelSmart Motion Blur to add motion blur. FCP 3.x will crash if you do this. FCP 3.x will also crash if you try to apply one of these plugins in one sequence and then put that into another sequence and apply another plugin (that is, you cannot avoid the problem by trying to "break up" the two plugins with an intermediate sequence. Because of this you need to apply one plugin, write out the footage, read it back in an apply the next plugin. An ugly workaround. Please note this problem does not exist in FCP 1.2.x, 2.x or 4.x. |
