The preview toolbar lets you view the animation sequence in wireframe. It is much faster than rendering or shading each of the frames.

Preview the animation in the viewport:

• Click then click .

  The viewport will change showing a preview of the animation. You cannot adjust the speed of the preview playback.

Move through the frames individually:

You can move between the frames, one at a time, using the rest of the buttons on the toolbar.

• To go to the first frame, click then click .
• To go to the previous frame, click then click .
• To go to a specific frame number, click then click .
• To go to the next frame, click then click .
• To go to the last frame, click then click .

Record the animation preview:

• Click then click .

  Your animation will be recorded using the RenderPreview command to capture each frame. This recording is much faster than recording the final rendered frames, but the image quality is lower.

  The preview is always recorded at the same size as the viewport.
