form•Z 7 used to design and manufacture lilitab for iPad

lilitab Backdrop

form•Z 7
was used to design and manufacture the lilitab, an Apple approved iPad kiosk.

Adam Aronson, a long time AutoDesSys customer, was using form•Z 6 to design the lilitab for iPad when he ran into trouble getting the concave curved corners inside the lilitab just as he was envisioning them. He approached Technical Support for help and was advised to use form•Z 7 beta (at the time). The rest is history! He was able to quickly conquer his shortfall and supply the 3D files needed for manufacturing the device.

The reality show pitted various up-and-coming designers against each other, and the winning designs from each episode were made available in Macy's, H&R, and Saks. The lilitabs were added to elaborate in-store displays that allow customers to order the apparel while visiting the display. You can find out more about form•Z HERE.

Macy's
lilitab has also been used by Ford, Kogeto, and The Museum of Making Music. You can find out more about lilitab at www.liltab.com.
